Driven by a passion for craftsmanship and process, my work is defined by hand generated techniques and use of colour. Textiles have provided me with the platform on which to follow my own curiosity and relationship with the material world viscerally. I use sensitivity to surface, and material as a tool for storytelling. The simplicity and directness of using my hands inspires me to explore a broad range of techniques within my practice. I am motivated by the immensely satisfying and meditative quality of learning through making, often exploring my design identity whilst constantly expanding my skill set.
